During the summer of 1969 Miles Davis, Bennie Maupin, Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea, Jack DeJohnette, John McLaughlin, Joe Zawinul and Dave Holland recorded one of the greatest albums of all time… The name of the album is Bitches Brew. Miles, along with the other artists, went into a studio and recorded this album in three days. Since the songs on this album are about 20-40 min. each Miles and the band recorded several takes with different sounds and different ways to voice chords etc. It is concidered to be the greatest selling Jazz album to this day.

ReplyDeleteVery interesting post! I appreciate your links. Great job. I have one concern. Some people may not understand the context of the title and may find it to be offensive in a school setting. That being said, it is what it is. In situations like this, perhaps the best thing to do is to not reference the "bad" word in the title of the post, but use it in your body to make it a little less obvious. Overall great thoughtful and interesting post!
